Technical assistance is free to HERA members for basic enquiriesof up to typically 10 minutes advice time. For enquiries taking more time, membership consulting terms are offered at special members rates with HERA Ordinary Members receiving additional discounts. New members will receive a HERA membership certificate, as well as the option to display their company logo in their members' profile.

HERA members have direct access to HERA's Information Centre which houses a technical library containing texts, references, standards, serials and photographs related to metals engineering. The Centre also offers for sale publications, standards and training material from throughout the world. What cannot be immeditely found in HERA's library can be sourced through the HERA Publications Officer or HERA Librarian.
