PO Trust project moving full steam ahead

Our AGGAT team is progressing well on our Pukeroa Oruawhata Trust project in Rotorua for the development of a geothermal spa/bathing recreational facility.
On a tight timeline for delivery, construction is expected to begin towards the end of the year – so we have much to do. Our engineers have been actively assessing our client’s geothermal heat resources belonging to them, and are in the middle of preparing sophisticated models on heating network arrangements, and heat resource application potentials to provide our client with a better understanding of their resource utilisation and make business decisions based on our work.
Of particular interest to our program is the applications of an Organic Rankine Cycle power plant which is earmarked to provide power to the spas facilities leveraging low temperature geothermal sources harnessed from the sites own available resources. Some of our members are involved in building this pilot plant, driving opportunities to prove their technology development for global distribution with hopes to trial at the Trust site in the near future.
