This is the news we have been eagerly waiting to share…

Rākau Nugent-Langslow arrived 7.03 pm on 28 July weighing 3.11 kg. Mother, Kim Nugent (Ngati Kahu and Ngati Kahungunu), HERA’s very own GM of Comms 4.0, is doing great and enjoying her time with Rākau (Ra for short) in the sun.

The name Rākau whakapapa’s back to Tane Mahuta, God of the Forest, as it means tree/plant in Te Reo Māori and these fall under the domain of Tane Mahuta’s protection.

Rākau is such a cutie and the reason why we don’t have a photo of Kim and Rākau is that Kam and Troy were keeping all the cuddles to themselves during their visit. Kim will have no shortage of willing babysitters!

Congratulations to both Kim and Dion – he is absolutely beautiful!
