When Paul Raethel re-purchased HERA member AIE outright, the first thing he did was appoint a new CEO.

Kelvin Wright came on board last August 2014, and the first thing he did was start calling and visiting customers to find out what their experience of AIE was like.

He says it was very instructive. What he found was that while a lot of our customers had become big AIE fans, others had struggled over the last few years with an overly commercial approach.

Kelvin has been involved in engineering for most of his working life. He initially qualified as a tool maker before working in a range of engineering roles.

He also spent a few years as a commercial pilot and flight instructor. In his spare time, Kelvin enjoys the outdoors and is a keen game fisherman.
