Description
The purposes of this Acoustic Guide are to: promote confidence in steel construction systems; raise the level of acoustic understanding in the building industry; address any perception that steel has performance limitations in acoustically demanding situations; provide the layman with a feel for the performance of different constructions; and provide recommendations which are simple, effective and inexpensive for ‘best practice’ acoustic design for commonly used building elements.
