The women engineers that go to work every day are delivering work that have massive positive impacts on their communities. But they’re also sisters, daughters and mothers – and finding work balance is key.

GHD Structural Team Leader Amy Wiliams knows this well.

By day, specialising in the delivery of seismic assessments as well as structural design for residential, commercial and industrial projects. And working closely with her clients to help them navigate through Earthquake Prone Building Regulations and associated seismic assessments.

By night, (and when she isn’t working), taking time out for herself to do the things she enjoys most – like sewing, or spending time with her children!
