Customer Support Assistant

I’m an administrator offering support to the HERA team and membership as first port of call.  My key deliverables will be assisting with communication offerings, event management, front desk operations our mātauranga Māori program and student membership offerings.

In 2022 I graduated from Auckland University of Technology with a Bachelor of Communications, and I have also spent the same year reclaiming my reo Māori through the Rumaki Reo (full immersion te reo Māori) course at Te Wānanga o Takiura.

The steel industry, welding and engineering in general, is all so new to me which is what led my curiosity to apply to be a part of the HERA team. As Customer Support Assistant, I hope to understand more about this new environment and strengthen my weaknesses too!

Growing up, anything different or creative intrigued me – from colouring in pictures outside of the lines to reading every single book about the solar system in my primary school library! I look forward to bringing the same curiosity to HERA.
