HERA and the Pressure Equipment Workshop organising committee invite the pressure equipment community to the Second New Zealand Pressure Equipment Workshop 2016.

The workshop is seen as benefiting designers, fabricators, inspectors, vendors, regulators, owners and operators. The goals for the workshop are:

  • Sharing technical information, innovation and practical experiences
  • Provide guidance and feedback; for the application and improvement of codes and regulations
  • Networking
  • Promote New Zealand’s capabilities
  • Promote consistency and best practice in the industry

Speakers

Keynote speaker Roger Griffiths is truly an expert in the field of pressure equipment. With a proven industry track record in sourcing, specifying and operating pressure equipment he is also known for disseminating information in conferences and publications. Roger, who has recently become President of WTIA, will be giving an update of developments in the Australian Pressure Equipment Industry.

The further conference content is delivered by industry speakers. Topics include application of IPENZ’s PN 19, piping design, risk assessment and case studies.

Worksafe will be addressing the conference with an update around Health and Safety in the pressure equipment industry. The afternoon session will include a panel discussion with panellists from industry and worksafe. Participants are encouraged to submit topics or questions.
